The water main which runs under Hollister Road at the North entrance to Cuesta burst on Tuesday, and a crew has been working on it since.
The water main that broke was located under Hollister Road, which required tunneling and a large steel support system, said an R.L. Construction spokesman.
Because Cuesta has a looped, and therefore redundant, water system, students have not noticed an interruption in service, and the toilets have kept flowing.
