October marks the arrival of Rideshare Month in San Luis Obispo, and with it comes various opportunities for students to save money on transportation as well as a chance to win cash for using alternative transportation. The damage to Cuesta College's gym roof is creating a safety hazard to the teams who use it, causing the gym to close until further notice. Since 1971 the old theatre has been Cuesta Colleges connection to the world of performing arts. It has hosted many spectacular events with lights and song that have captured all ages and conveyed how students can connect to stage life. That was the purpose for the old military chapel that served as the production building and main theatre at Cuesta College for three decades until now. (0) comments
Despite a massive budget crisis at Cuesta College, the Tutorial Center is still helping more than 250 students achieve success free of charge proving that where there is a will, there is a way. A crowd of roughly 40 Cuesta students gathered on Tuesday morning despite the pouring rain to listen to Chief of Police Deborah Linden speak.
